“ Siamo stati all’Antica Hosteria Cavallino e l’esperienza è stata davvero piacevole. Abbiamo provato piatti a base di pesce di grande qualità, con una chiara impronta sarda. Fregua Sarda Senatore Capelli mantecata ai crostacei (astice e gambero rosso): cremosa, equilibrata e ricca di gusto. Gran Trionfo di Crostacei del Mediterraneo alla Catalana: portata scenografica e generosa, perfetta per chi ama i sapori autentici del mare. In abbinamento, un ottimo Vermentino sardo, fresco e aromatico, che ha esaltato le portate. Per concludere, un buonissimo raviolone caldo ripieno con crema pasticcera agli agrumi e gelato al basilico: dessert originale e ben riuscito. La location è riservata e accogliente, l’ambiente intimo e curato. Il personale si è dimostrato cortese e simpatico, contribuendo a rendere la serata ancora più gradevole. Il livello dei piatti è alto e la qualità si percepisce, anche se i prezzi risultano un po’ sopra la media. “ I tried the oysters and raw seafood platter to start with and both were very fresh. I also tried octopus and sea bass fillet, which were nice. However, the best hot dish for me ended up being Fantasia di Mare. Great wine list and overall atmosphere. The reason for the one star reduction is that I found this restaurant rather overpriced, especially compared to similar places in the area. ”

All’esterno un bellissimo porticato contornato da tende e per le serate afose, rinfrescato da ventole. Clima tranquillo e rilassante. I proprietari sono sardi, molti degli ingredienti derivanti dalla meravigliosa Sardegna. La valutazione di un locale la affidiamo solitamente al crudo di mare e al fritto misto, che qui si sono rivelati eccellenti. Personale gentile e disponibile. Alla prossima ”
